Gifts to Give

Nye was involved with “Gifts to Give,” a nonprofit organization located in New Bedford. The organization's mission is to wage war on poverty in the community, as thousands of children are affected by this problem on the South Coast. More than 20 volunteers devoted four hours of time at Gifts to Give. Nye donated 50 brand new 55-gallon plastic drums to serve in the processing and storage of items received at the nonprofits facility. In addition, the Mock family donated dozens of toys and outfits to the cause.
